Operator and purpose
YouTube Comment Support is a personal tool operated by Devin Gaffney to review comments on his own YouTube channel and send replies he explicitly approves. It uses YouTube API Services.
Data accessed
The tool accesses channel identity and video metadata, public comment text, commenter display names and channel identifiers, comment identifiers, reply relationships, links and timestamps. Google authorization may permit access to nonpublic channel metadata. Routine comment reviews are limited to public videos and public comments. Google credentials authorize the connection; the tool does not receive the Google account password.
Use and processing
Data is used to identify genuine questions, select relevant enthusiastic comments, recognize returning commenters from observed interactions, avoid duplicate replies, and record review status. Relevant text is processed with OpenAI Codex for AI-assisted review. Selected interactions and factual continuity notes may be saved in Devin’s private Notion ledger. The tool does not automatically publish AI-generated replies.
Storage and sharing
Authorization credentials are stored in macOS Keychain. Temporary comment data is processed on Devin’s Mac and through Codex; selected records are stored in Notion. OpenAI and Notion process submitted data under the applicable account settings and service terms. The tool does not sell YouTube data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Temporary comment collections are deleted after review. Selected API-derived records must be refreshed or deleted within 30 days; ongoing ledger use requires that maintenance to be active. Independently supplied notes are kept distinguishable from API-derived data. A person may request deletion of retained records relating to their comments by contacting Devin. Requests will be handled promptly and within applicable YouTube requirements.
Control and contact
Devin may revoke the app’s Google access at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; retained records and local credentials can also be deleted. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, contact crux_petunia.03@icloud.com.

This information site is hosted by Google Sites. Google may process visitor information under its own privacy policy. The tool operator has not added advertising, analytics tags or a comment-submission form to this site.
Changes
This page will be updated if the tool’s data practices change. Material changes to authorized data use require renewed consent where applicable.
